Yoga is something anyone can learn, and once you learn it, you can easily practice on your own. Pranayama (breathing exercises) fills you with life energy and starts the proper flow of energy in your body. It provides you with vitality, focus and alertness. Asanasa (body exercises) is a yoga practice that gives you strength, stamina and flexibility. The exercises engage your whole body and act like a massage on every muscle. Your muscles become more supple, your nervous system more balanced, and you feel better in general. The functioning of your internal organs improves. During the relaxation periods, you learn the difference between the state of being tense and the state of feeling relaxed. With this awareness, you can learn the art of releasing physical and mental stress at will, and on your own, whenever you need to. With the help of mantra meditation, you can learn to use the beneficial effects of complete release to charge yourself with mental energy.
 
Doing yoga in a group is a great way to get away from your everyday surroundings and learn to focus on yourself, confirm the basics of yoga, and get prepared to practice yoga on your own, in your home. Working with other people to achieve a shared goal is inspirational for everyone.
The yoga sessions are led by an experienced yoga instructor, and take place in a pleasant,homelike atmosphere. You can learn how to properly practice yoga and experience the rewarding physiological and emotional effects practicing yoga gives you.
One way you can do yoga with us is to take a 100 minute class which includes mental preparation, warm-up exercises, Asanasa, recovery and cooling down, Pranayama, relaxation and mantra-meditation.
Another way, is to take a full yoga study course in which the practice of yoga is taught systematically from the beginner level. While attending the theoretical lectures, you will get acquainted with the yoga lifestyle. The yoga classes are 120 minutes each, and include: theoretical lecture, breathing exercises, warm-up, sun salutation exercises, asanasa, cool down, relaxation, and mantra-meditation (55% asanasa, 45% other modules).
 
If you want to become fitter and more balanced both mentally and physically, join our yoga sessions. 
The classes are held every Monday at Blaha Lujza Square, in a nice, well-equipped room. The courses start at 17:00. and the practice sessions start at 19:15.
 
Those who join us through Atlas Sports Club get a 10% discount. (For Atlas Members)
 
Yoga Practice Session Prices: 
- The price of a practice session if you pay for each session individually is 1,700 HUF.
- A 10 session pass is 14,400 HUF, bringings the per session cost down to 1,440 HUF. The 10 session pass is valid for 3 months.
Yoga Course Price:
- 15,000 HUF (8 meetings, once a week, 2 hours)
Non-Atlas members can participate in both Yoga sessions and the Yoga course, but the prices are 10% higher.
